“I get emotional to watch my grandmother practicing social distancing with the whole family, and especially, with her great-grandchildren. It breaks my heart to make her wear a cloth face mask and forbid her to hug and kiss them when I know how badly she wants to. But I know that I am doing it for her sake and I am grateful she is safe and in good health. My sketch is inspired by this accessory that has already become part of so many lives and keep us apart from each other. That’s why I named my design, To better days”
